Littlest Angels International uses a sliding scale fee schedule for Domestic Adoptions. The fees for a completed adoption range from $5,000.00 to $15,000.00 depending on your income.
Fees are paid as the work is completed. A $250.00 application fee is due at the time you apply. This fee is non-refundable.
The fee for completion of your homestudy is dependent on your sliding fee amount. Half the homestudy fee is paid when the homestudy is begun, the second half when it is completed.
When you are matched with a birthmother, you pay a fee for birthparent counseling. When the baby is placed with you, you pay a placement fee.
And when the Post Placement Supervision is complete and you adopt your child, you pay the remaining fee.
We feel that breaking the fee payment up in this manner makes it more workable for parents to be able to manage the payment of the fees.
International Adoption fees include a $250.00 application fee and a fee of $3,000.00 for a completed Adoptive Home Study. We ask that $1,500.00 is paid when the study is begun and the remaining $1,500.00 is paid when the study is completed.
Filing with the state of Colorado is $175.00, payable when the study is submitted to the state.
Post Placement Supervision fees are $500.00 and include visits to the home, written reports to the international agency and notification of the state of Colorado of your adoption. Half the fee is paid when Post Placement Supervision begins and the balance is paid when it is complete.
