FEES
FEES FOR AN INTERNATIONAL HOME STUDY
An application fee of $250.00 is due at the time of application. The fee for preparation of a completed home study is $4,000.00. Half of that amount is required to be paid at the first visit. The final half will be paid when the home study is completed and approved.
Additional expenses are: Fingerprinting fees, Colorado Background check, (TRAILS), any and all fees required by USCIS.
$175.00 for approval from the State of Colorado. A separate check for that amount, made payable to "State of Colorado" is required at the last home study meeting or included when paying for the home study.
Post Placement Supervision Fees are $700.00. Half the amount is to be paid when Post Placement Supervision begins, the final half is paid when Post Placement Supervision is complete.

FEE POLICY – INTERSTATE, AGENCIES OTHER THAN LITTLEST ANGELS AND INTERNATIONAL HOMESTUDIES
In the event an adoption is completed by placing a child from another state with an adoptive home in Colorado, there is an additional expense of $250.00.
HOME STUDIES DONE FOR OTHER AGENCIES: $4,000.00
BIRTH PARENT COUNSELING AND RELINQUISHMENT OF PARENTAL RIGHTS IF THE BIRTH PARENTS RESIDE IN COLORADO AND THE ADOPTIVE PARENTS RESIDE IN ANOTHER STATE: $3,000.00 PLUS ATTORNEY FEES AS WELL AS $250.00 FOR ICPC.
Cooperation with the child placement agency in the state of the child’s birth as well as filing an Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (Form ICPC – A, a legal document which is required by all states) will be necessary.
The out-of state agency MUST be a licensed agency.
